Glory of Creation

Creation

As I continue my walk with God, my mind is drawn to things of life. When your eyes become opened by the hand of God when you believe, and spiritual things start to reveal themselves to you, the world changes. I’m in constant wonder at God’s glorious creation. Life is truly a miracle. Science can show us things that pull back the curtain on life, and the magnificent ways of living breathing entities makes my soul cry out "Glory to the Lord my God in the highest!" God's word holds true throughout all life and weaves itself in glory, shaping all existence everywhere!

1Praise the LORD! Let all that I am praise the LORD. 2I will praise the LORD as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath. 3Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. 4When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. 5But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. 6He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever…8The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. (Psalm 146:1-6, 8. NLT)

Science can explain a lot of our world, but has never been able to explain the mind – consciousness or the heart – emotions.  For I believe these are spiritual things, that can only be explained through God.

In the beginning God breathed life into man. The breath you breathe in and out through your lungs is the very essence of life. Followers of Christ, breathe in new life when the Holy Spirit comes and unites with our soul when we surrender our life to God the Father & God the Son Jesus Christ.

God’s Design

God reveals Himself to us in everyday life.  My mind could always grasp at what God the Father did for all mankind when he sacrificed His one and only Son Jesus Christ, but until I had my own son and became a father myself, my heart could never fully feel the weight of what God did for us.

When we are married, the bride and the groom become united together.  The two become one.  Think about all that comes with marriage and how life changes?  God’s word tells us the very same union exists between mankind and Jesus when we trust in God. I believe that this is not by chance, but part of God’s design.  The Lord reveals Himself to us through His glorious creation. 

31As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” 32This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. (Ephesians 5:31-32, NLT)

Faith

As darkness fell when Christ was on the Cross, for the first time ever in the history of existence, there was a barrier between God the Father and God the Son, The Holy Union of God looked to be broken as the weight of all the sin from mankind rested on Jesus.

33At noon, darkness fell across the whole land until three o’clock. 34Then at three o’clock Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” (Mark 15:33-34, NLT)

No power of hell or earth could shake Jesus' FAITH. He cried out to his Father, who had looked away from His precious Son for the first time, as he shouted, "My God, my God why have you abandoned me." Jesus' words "My God" show that through it all, abandoned and betrayed by those he loved on earth His disciples, beaten and scorned by the people He was sent to save, tortured and hung for a criminals death, Jesus' FAITH stood strong through it all.  Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God choose to lay down His life so that the whole world could be saved.

As Christians, if our FAITH is but a taste of Jesus' as the most important thing in our life, then the call of Christ to share the good news to all nations will happen naturally.

May the peace of Christ guide us all into a brighter tomorrow!  Thank God that He is greater, may He be a shield and a fortress to our beloved land and a bright light to shine in the hearts of all His people.  Amen!
